Marking the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between HKIE Civil Division and CICES, this inaugural joint seminar brings together innovation, legal and commercial practitioners to share perspectives on innovation for NEC contracts and collaborative procurement — covering the NEC legal framework, Security of Payment (SOP) adjudication, and practical lessons from major civil engineering infrastructure projects. It also explores what makes innovation succeed for projects, including the role of collaborative contracting, and offers practical, positive lessons for engineers and surveyors who want to drive real change in their own projects, moving from ideas to impact.
