ICES HK is proud to be selected as the Surveying Consultant for the highly anticipated Eastern District Dragon Boat Race 2024, held on June 2, 2024. This prestigious event, organized by the Chai Wan Fishermen's Recreation Club, draws thousands of spectators from various districts who gather to cheer for their favorite teams. This year, approximately 90 teams of paddlers joined the race.
For several years, ICES HK has been actively involved in recruiting volunteers to assist in verifying the racecourse's distance during this exhilarating event. This opportunity not only allows us to contribute to the smooth running of the event, but also serves as a platform to promote the surveying profession to the public.
