CICES-HK Lists of ADR Professionals

In response to the increasing demand for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services in construction and engineering consultancy disputes—particularly adjudication under the Construction Industry Security of Payment Ordinance (Cap. 652), the CICES-HK has established the following Lists of ADR Professionals (the “Lists”) comprising qualified CICES-HK members and accessible by members of the public to identify and connect with suitable arbitrators, adjudicators, mediators and/or dispute resolution advisors. 

The Lists contain information supplied on a voluntary basis by qualified CICES-HK members. While reasonable steps have been taken by CICES-HK to ensure the listed members have met the necessary eligibility criteria at the time of inclusion—and members are advised to promptly notify CICES‑HK of any changes to their qualifications—CICES‑HK does not exercise control over the members’ acquisition, maintenance, or practice of those qualifications.

Members of the public are therefore advised to contact the listed professionals directly to validate the currency, relevance, and suitability of their ADR qualifications and experience for the matters at hand. CICES-HK disclaims any liabilities arising from or related to the authenticity, currency, or adequacy of the information contained in the Lists.

 

Eligibility

Enlistment to the Lists is based on the CICES-HK members possessing one or more of the following qualifications*:

2. Adjudication

  • HKIAC Panel of Adjudicators
  • HKIA List of Adjudicators
  • HKIE Panel of Adjudicators
  • HKIS Panel of Adjudicators
  • AALCO-HKRAC Panel of Adjudicators
  • AALCO-HKRAC Panel of Senior Adjudicators

3. Professional Qualifications in Mediation

  • HKMAAL General Mediator
  • HKIAC Panel of Mediators
  • HKIA & HKIS Joint Panel of Mediators
  • HKIE List of Mediators
  • Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Construction Disputes International Mediation Center 粵港澳工程爭議國際調解中心 

4. Dispute Resolution Advisors

  • List of Dispute Resolution Advisor (DRAds) of the Joint Management Committee (formed by Architectural Services Department, various government works departments and the Hong Kong Construction Association) 

* CICES-HK is not an accreditation, nomination, or appointment body for any of the ADR qualifications concerned.

*Personal Data Collection Statement: CICES-HK members are requested to provide their personal data (including certificates in relation to professional trainings and qualifications) on a voluntary basis, for the purpose of (i) assisting parties to potential engineering consultancy / construction disputes to identify arbitrators, mediators, adjudicators or dispute resolution advisors possessing expertise and experience in the relevant professional disciplines; and (ii) CICES-HK’s compilation of statistics to facilitate reviews of the Lists and the members’ involvement (including extent and forms) in industrial dispute resolution activities. CICES-HK might not be able to process any incomplete submission, and reserves the right to withhold or reject any submission which contains misleading, erroneous or outdated information.
